As ministers of the Word and Eucharist, you have committed to strengthen your spiritual life. Lent is a special time for grace and reflection on the sacrifices of Jesus Christ and our own towards building up the Kingdom. Our Bishop has encouraged lay ministers to attend a day of reflection or retreat at least once a year. With the current pandemic, large gatherings are prohibited. A personal retreat/reflection should still be made this year. Fr. Spenser has provided several resources for your personal reflection. You may contact me, Donna Chaney for additional information. June 6, 2021 is the Feast of The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ and the Holy Thursday service is the commemoration of the Last Supper of Jesus Christ, when he established the sacrament of Holy Communion.
