Proclaimers: Please wait until the Celebrant is seated (and congregation is settled before approaching the altar for 1st reading. Please do not approach ambo for 2nd reading until the Cantor has been seated for 20 – 30 seconds. Per Diocesan Guidelines.
Note: We currently have eighteen proclaimers. Some of you have indicated you are not
available for 7:30 mass. Some of you also serve as EMHC. I will try to see that everyone is scheduled once a month, but this may not always be the case. If you are not on for one month, it does not mean you have been taken off the list. Thank you for all you do. Madeline
Just a reminder: After the wine has been consecrated and found in the cup which you offer to the communicant, it is now the BLOOD of CHRIST and any other reference would be irreverent. Do not call it wine. When your cup is empty during the Communion service, place the purificator (linen) over it and turn to face the altar. This way the next communicant will know not to approach you. I appreciate your and the congregation's comments when corrections are warrant. Thank you, Donna
